Terms of Service

1. Acceptance of Terms
By accessing or using Prompt Modules ("the Service"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree to these terms, do not use the Service.
2. Description of Service
Prompt Modules provides a persistent module registry and context compiler for Claude Code. The Service includes a CLI tool (prompt-modules-mcp), an MCP server, a web dashboard, and a module marketplace.
3. Account Registration
To use the Service, you must create an account. You are responsible for maintaining the security of your API key and account credentials. You agree to notify us immediately of any unauthorized access to your account.
4. Acceptable Use
You agree not to use the Service to:
- Upload malicious or harmful content
- Circumvent usage limits of your plan
- Infringe intellectual property rights of others
- Reverse engineer or attempt to extract source code
- Use the Service for illegal activities
5. Subscription Plans and Billing
The Service offers Free, Pro ($12/month), and Team ($49/month) plans. Paid plans are billed monthly. You can cancel at any time; cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period. We do not provide refunds for partial months.
6. Module Marketplace
Users on Pro and Team plans may publish modules to the marketplace. Published modules must not contain proprietary code, trade secrets, or personally identifiable information. We reserve the right to remove modules that violate these terms.
Revenue share (70% to publisher, 30% to platform) applies to paid modules sold through the marketplace. Payouts are processed monthly via Stripe Connect, subject to a minimum threshold.
7. Intellectual Property
You retain ownership of all modules and content you create. By publishing a module to the marketplace, you grant other users a license to use it according to the module's specified license (default: MIT).
8. Limitation of Liability
The Service is provided "as is" without warranty of any kind. In no event shall Prompt Modules be liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the Service.
9. Changes to Terms
We may update these Terms at any time. Continued use of the Service after changes constitutes acceptance of the new Terms. We will notify users of material changes via email.
